1:18 Classic Carlectable - Craig Lowndes's 1994 Bathurst 1000 2nd place - Holden VP Commodore.
For the 1994 Bathurst, a young Craig Lowndes (20 Years of age) teamed up with HRT endurace driver Bard Jones. Jones was able to qualify the 015 HRT in 9th position after the top 10 shot-out.
Due to wet condiutions, the safety car was called upon many times during the early stages of the race. After a late double stinit from Jones, the 015 HRT was in a podium position, Lowndes took over the driving for the final sprint.
With only 11 laps remaining Lowndes was winning the race, if only briefly, as a fast finishing John Bowe retook the lead. Lowndes would go on to finsih the race in 2nd place.
