Biante Model Cars are very pleased to present the 1:18 Scale Brad Jones Racing Holden VF Commodore driven by Nick Percat at the 2017 Australian Grand Prix in the Coates Hire Supercars Challenge.
Running a rolling sponsorship model for the 2017 season, Brad Jones Racing unveiled a colourful rainbow livery featuring Holden's fantastic 'Supporting Equality' campaign which was positively received by the vast majority of fans and the motorsport community. While the livery was certainly eye-catching, Percat was involved in an even bigger eye-catching moment during the Friday race when a brake failure sent him on 250km/h white knuckle ride, colliding into an unsuspecting Lee Holdsworth and eventually collecting the wall of the Albert Park circuit. While Holdsworth was an innocent bystander, it was lucky he was there to take the initial hit from car 8 in the rear of his car to blunt some of the speed from Percat's out-of-control Commodore, otherwise it could have been much more serious for the driver. While the car was a write off, Holden's message wasn't and we're proud to be producing this model for collectors.
